Westmoreland Glass Round Powder Box / Candy Dish Box Black & Gold Trimmed *

Description

Vintage black glass candy dish with the gold trim band. It is approximately 6" in diameter, and 4" tall, with lid on. It has no chips, or cracks. It has shelf wear, some pitting on top of lid, & gold wear. It has a few mini flea bites on bottom rim, and these could have been made at factory. It looks like it has a ground bottom showing it is an older piece. Inside of dish looks great. All in all it is vintage to antique piece of glass, which has plenty of charm, and could be used for many things. Please use the twelve pictures as part of the description.

Most vintage glass, or pottery was not made cookie cutter perfect, that is part of the charm. This could include light scratches, air bubbles, straw marks, stress lines, crazing from age, pottery dimples, or factory imperfections. Sometimes there are mini flea bites, or a wobble to the piece. This is all normal with vintage pieces. I do my best to describe my items, even if it has a flaw, a chip, or some type of issue. I have missed a few, but never intentionally. I supply 5-12 good pictures from different angles, for visual description.
