    Description
    I just purchased this vintage Westmoreland Glass covered candy jar from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The jar is well executed with crisp detail to the Diamond Point design on the tall footed blank. The white opaque glass is hand painted by Abels, Wasserberg & Co. in their Charleton "Roses & Bows" décor. The piece has a striking presence measuring 13" high and 4 7/8" wide. The piece is in excellent condition with no damage. The 24K gold enamel is bright with no noted wear. This tall candy would make a fun addition to your collection of vintage Westmoreland milk glass or Charleton hand painted wares.
