This is a listing for a Westmoreland Glass covered Cat box, originally produced by ATTERBURY & CO.  On the bottom of the base, there are the letters WG, this marking was used by Westmoreland circa late 1940s. This has a open lace edge and the cover of or the lid has a resting cat.  It is a beautiful shade of turquoise blue Milk Glass
