Vintage 50's WESTMORELAND Wakefield Ruby Stained Wedding Box
A unique "Blast from the Past", the wedding box was originally designed to store a piece of wedding cake for the bride! The romantic, vintage, cleverly designed 4-in-1 Wedding Box can be used in various configurations as shown in the original catalog page seen in photo #5. As you will see, the 2-pc multi-use pedestal dish can be a covered wedding box, open dish/candy dish two ways, or candle stick!
The item measures 10" high from base to top of lid and is rendered in clear glass with ruby stain technique.  Item is marked with the Westmoreland maker's mark. What a gorgeous piece to add to your collection of Westmoreland glass, Wedding Boxes or Vintage Glass! The condition is good for its age, having only 2 very minor scratches in the ruby stain, otherwise there are NO flaws to this beauty! See the pics and you can see the exact condition.
