    THESE ADAPTERS ONLY PLAY VHS-C TAPES.
    THEY DO NOT PLAY 8MM, HI8, DIGITAL8, MINIDV OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF CAMCORDER TAPE.
    These JVC VHS-C adapters are new old stock which have not been used other than by myself to personally test and inspect them to make sure the motors and gearing are operating correctly since they are no longer manufactured. Sleeve may have light signs of storage as shown.
    It utilizes a single AA battery to drive the motors. When you open the clear window and insert a VHS-C or S-VHS-C cassette into the compartment, the motors will automatically draw the tape out to the same position that the tape is at in a full size VHS cassette, so you can play a VHS-C camcorder tape in any standard VCR. It is not recommended to leave a VHS-C tape inside the adapter when it is not being used.
