    Description

    Circa 1980's purple slag 'Sawtooth' pattern line #556 butter or candy covered dish by Westmoreland Glass.  Please reference Lorraine Kovar's book titled "Westmoreland Glass The Popular Years 1940-1985" page 171 and 172.  Dish is 5" tall to the top of the finial, 6 1/2" diameter across the openings with about a 4" base diameter.  Pattern is crisp and well embossed throughout the entire piece.
    Overall very good condition with no cracks has the usual bubbles, straw marks, and base wear.  Please look at all photos as they are part of the description.  A few flat flakes to the inside of the points along the edges where the two pieces meet and an open bubble that chipped also on one point.
    Buyer pays P/S/I. Insurance for up to is included in the shipping price for US buyers only and for Priority Mail only.  I will combine shipping on multiple items won. All glass or fragile items are double boxed for safe travel which may increase the shipping cost, so please check the shipping calculator before bidding.
