    Description

    Child's Alphabet Plate.  In the box stop the elephant sit 3 people.  One is waving a flag. "R & Co." is molded on the pad - standing for Ripley & Co. Who made it in the 1880s. The plate is 6" in diameter.  It has fleabite chips under the outside rim. Amazing it has survived these many years.  I understand children used these dishes as a learning tool in those days.
