SLIM’s lightweight design is perfect to carry in shirt or pants pockets and have ready for use as an elevator door safety wedge; as an air jack to lift or adjust loads in tight places and is faster, easier and does less damage than metal or plastic wedges. Elevator mechanics or inspectors can quickly and easily secure the doors for routine maintenance or service with the SLIM. No more bending or kneeling down to the floor to insert a heavy metal wedge, just use the lightweight SLIM, slide it between the door and jamb at waist level and give it 2-3 pumps to securely hold the door.
