Fast-acting, reliable, and completely safe bonding epoxy
Comes in three effective formulations (5&10, 5-15, and 20/20) for different needs
Brampton Technology is the leading name in golf club repair solutions. Pro-Fix is a line of high-grade epoxies designed to bond golf club heads to shafts. Use it when its time to upgrade your golf clubs, re-shaft your set, replace your club head, or to do quick repairs.
Unlike many other epoxies, Pro-Fix bonds even high performance materials like titanium, graphite, and more. It's also safe to use without expensive workshop safety equipment.
Review the Pro-Fix Epoxy Guide below for more information on which type will work best for your golf club repair needs.
Which Pro-Fix formula is right for you?
Each Pro-Fix formula is made for different repair needs. Refer to the sidebar to the right or the chart below for more details about different properties of each formulation.
The 5&10 is for quick fixes. The clubs can be ready to play with in just 20 minutes. The 5-15 can be used for more repairs and can also leave golf clubs ready to use in just 30 minutes. The 20/20 can be used to repair entire sets of golf clubs in one project. It takes a full 24 hours for the bond to set in.
About Brampton Technology
Brampton Technology was founded in 1997 by a father and son who were professional club builders and instructors on all major golf tours, and a chemical engineer with multiple patents for adhesives and specialty polymers. Pro-Fix Epoxy Guide
Click the guide to the right for details on set-up time, cure time, and other important information about using Pro-Fix Epoxy for golf club repair and other projects. Use this helpful guide to plan your repair projects and to determine which type of Pro-Fix is right for your needs.
Step 1
Set Up: Ensure all materials are prepped and on your work bench before starting. This will allow you to maximize the working time of the epoxy to ensure the strongest bonds. Reference PRO-FIX Epoxy Guide for details.
Step 2
Correct surface preparation is crucial to create long lasting durable bonds on metal, graphite, ceramics, wood, cement, brick, rubber and most plastics. Make sure all surfaces are free of any contaminants e.g. dust, oil, old epoxy residue etc. If one or both surfaces have a shiny or have slippery surface it is recommended they be abraded (grit-sanded) as this will insure the epoxy has something to grab onto.
Step 3
Dispense equal amounts of part A and part B by volume. All PRO-FIX Adhesives are mixed 1:1 by volume. Dispense only enough for 1 use based on documented working time. Refer to Brampton PRO-FIX Epoxy guide for open working time. Note: Glass Beads can be added at this step to help increase the structural strength of the bond with loose fitting shafts.
Step 4
Mix thoroughly until the product has a uniform color 20-30 seconds. Do not remix the material at any time during use.
Step 5
Apply a liberal amount of mixed epoxy to both surfaces. For golf clubs or applications that require an insertion use a round dowel to ensure the inside diameter is thoroughly coated. Examine both surfaces for complete coverage. Do not continue to use mixed product that has started to set or become gelled.
Step 6
For golf application insert shaft into hosel (golf head) using a twisting motion to ensure complete epoxy coverage. For other substrates push together and if necessary clamp or fasten.
Step 7
Clean excess epoxy with alcohol wipe.
Step 8
Leave product undisturbed to cure. WARNING: Do not move objects until epoxy is fully cured or bond strength will be significantly reduced. Stated times are based on 68?F (20?C) - 77?F (25?C); Warmer temperatures will shorten set time and colder temperatures will lengthen it. One of the best way to test the bond is to confirm applicators are properly adhered to the mixing plate.
