    This auction is for a Sandwich Lacy Toy Flint Glass Oval Dish, The Boston and Sandwich Glass Company, Sandwich, MA., c. 1835-50. This is a wonderful antique child's toy dish that is rare as they were played with by children and most were broken long ago. The glass has a fan and lily pattern in flint glass in the center and a scroll border. The toy glass dish is listed in "A Guide To Sandwich Glass Witch Balls, Containers and Toys" by Barlow and Kaiser, #3341; where a lacy dish in clear glass booked for back in 1987. I offer the lacy glass oval dish with no reserve and a "Buy It Now". DIMENSIONS: The oval dish is 1/2" H. x 2 1/16" W. x 3 1/16" L.. CONDITION: The condition is very good with some tiny small nicks to the rim the only excuse. For a child's toy 170 years old that is excellent condition.
