Description
Offered for sale is a lovely EAPG antique Carafe/ PITCHER made by Westmoreland. The pattern is called BRIDLE ROSETTES, aka CHECKERBOARD, and features squares and diamonds laid out in a grid. The small raised squares have hobstars on them in raised relief. It has a sawtooth rim. This pattern is Westmoreland's #500, and was reintroduced in milk glass decades later, with the name OLD QUILT.The pitcher stands 7 1/2 inches tall at the spout, and
measures 5 inches in diameter
at the rim. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, cloudiness or discoloration in the glass. Some tiny bubbles are visible in the glass and two small straw lines from when it was made.
